Impressive old road through the Zügenschlucht gorge.
This undemanding tour takes you from the Wolfgangpass along easy country trails or side roads through Landschaft Davos via Frauenkirch and Lengmatta to Glaris.
After Monstein station, you branch off onto the old Zügenstrasse. This old cantonal road leads you in spectacular fashion through the narrow gorge. With magnificent views at the Bärrentritt (short flight of steps), you turn off on to a single track which leads you high above the gorge and down to Wiesen station.
You then take the easy way back to the departure point by Rhaetian Railway.

All six Davos Klosters mountain rail & cableways and the Rhaetian Railway transport mountain bikers. Mountain ascents, as well as the train trip between Filisur and Klosters Dorf are free for bikers holding a Davos Klosters Inclusive Card.
Davos Klosters mountain rail & cableways charge CHF 10.00 / day or CHF 5.00 / trip to transport bikes. The Schatzalp funicular charges CHF 4.00 / trip for bike transport. Rhaetian Railway bike transport costs CHF 18.00 (without half-fare card) / CHF 12.00 (with half-fare card) per day or the price of a passenger ticket on short sections.
