Demanding single-track tour high above the Flüelatal valley with magnificent views.
The route leads from the Tourism and Sport Centre in Davos Platz towards Davos Dorf. At the entrance to the Dischmatal valley, the route leads up to Büelen from where a road through the forest runs directly into the Flüelatal valley. Tschuggen is then quickly reached on the gently climbing single track running parallel to the Flüelabach stream.
Note: be careful crossing the busy pass road!
At the small church on Tschuggen, the trail becomes very steep and some strenuous height metres follow. Shortly before the top station the trail changes into a road and the climb becomes easier.
From the top station (in service in winter only) a single track, tricky but great fun, leads along the ridge and affords fabulous views of the surrounding mountain world. The trail branches off to the right before the last steep ascent to Hüreli and leads in a wonderful flow over mountain meadows towards Drusatscha. One or two difficult sections must be mastered before reaching Drusatscha alp.
As a finale, another single track leads directly to the Davosersee lake, where you can stop off to review your tour at the Von Sprecher Haus with garden restaurant.
Variante A: An alternative to heading to Drusatscha: a demanding single track leads from Hüreli directly down to Färich.
