From Interlaken Ost, the trail first leads comfortably along the Aare River and the railway line to Ringgenberg. The steep and challenging mountain trail for experienced hikers in good shape. From Ringgenberg, the trail goes up to Blatti and then further along the forest that provides shade to the Graggentor. The Graggentor is a natural rock arch. The path to the Alp Horet and on to the Roteflue runs flat over the Wannichnubel along the Harder ridge. After a final climb on a rocky but wide mountain path, you arrive at the Harder Kulm mountain restaurant. The viewing terrace and the Three Lakes Bridge afford a magnificent view down to the Bödeli and the lakes of Thun and Brienz as well as a unique view of the world-famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate. From the Harder Kulm restaurant, continue on a broad panoramic trail to the Harder Railway summit station, the hike's destination.
