On the way on ancient traces.
The Athenian, who 2500 years agon walked from Marathon to Athens and collapsed at the end, would probably have loved to do the errand on a modern mountain bike. He probably would have found a great pleasure in his mission. One can experience the «marathon» nowadays comfortably sitting on one's saddle: At the gateway to the Val Lumzenia a varied and now and then challenging tour for the persistent biker is offered. Properly speaking this tour with its 84 km distance should be called «double marathon». Racy downhills, passing by blossoming alpine meadows and picturesque mountain forests let you forget the struggle of the ascent. And a message can be carried even today: Who succeeds the bike marathon is allowed to call himself winner.
