From the centre of Holderbank village, head towards Roggen. You will pass through a wide variety of forest sections with fantastic views throughout. The «Grien-Grube» Schattenberg offers a glimpse of the inside of the mountain. The highest point of the hike is the Roggenschnarz, after which one descends a small set of steps. As well as many vantage points, the route also passes the «Blüemlismatt» restaurant with the option of fine dining. Just before the end there is a steep descent to the junction with the Jacob's Ladder-Rinderweg nature trail in Egerkingen.
