This challenging round tour starts at the northern side of the Chur railway station. Through the villages of Felsberg and Domat/Ems you reach the golf course in Domat/Ems. That's where the ascent starts. The mountain road is quite steep and it will take you some power to reach the mountain village of Feldis at 1'500 m. This is the perfect place to recharge your batteries in one of the restaurants. Continue on the level street in direction of Scheid. At point 1498 the next as-cent begins. Follow the paved mountain road up to the Alp di Plaun on 1953 m. At this point you can decide, whether you want to continue on the «Lady Patricia Trail» to Brambrüesch, or branch off and ascent to the Dreibündenstein (va-riant A). To continue on the standard route, follow the hiking trail to the ski hut Term Bel, turn right there and after 200 meters the trail branches off to the left side (follow the signal «Lady Patricia»). Before you reach the high route, the ascent continues and in the end you have to push your bike for appr. 10-15 minutes (if you take the variant A to the Dreibündenstein, the pushing part will be appr. 30 minutes). When you have finally reached the height, a nice and very panoramic single track lies before you. In the middle of the high route, you will find a memorial stone, where 1944 a US bomber has crashed into the mountain. The narrow single track traverses below of the Dreibündenstein. A bit later the 2 trail variants merge again (variant A coming from above). Now enjoy the flow on the descent to Spundis. There you can decide again, whether to take the single track to Juchs or take the variant B and continue to Brambrüesch. From Juchs follow the mountain road for a while, before another single track branches off to the right side, which you can follow as far as the restaurant Rosenhügel, just above Chur.
Variante A: At Alp dil Plaun branch off right and follow the narrow trail (includes some pushing and carrying parts) up to the Drei-bündenstein at 2160 m, a stone monument to the freedom fighters of Graubünden, which marks the common border point of the former Three Leagues of Raetia. Enjoy the splendid panorama there and then descent in direction of Furg-gabüel - Hühnerköpfe - Brambrüesch.
Variante B: Connection from Spundis to Brambrüesch. For the descent from Brambrüesch, you can either follow the marked moun-tain bike route no. 255 or take one of the marked downhill tracks (challenging). If you cycle the route in opposite direc-tion, take the gondola from Chur to Brambrüesch and there follow this variant up to Spundis, where you can continue the route. Variante C: From Domat/Ems cycle up to Rhäzüns and there take the gondola up to the mountain village of Feldis.
This route can be cycled in both directions. If you want to save some meters in height, you can either take the gondola from Chur to Brambrüesch (saves 1000 meters in height) and cycle the route in reverse direction (variant B as connec-tion to the route), or take the variant C to Rhäzüns and there take the gondola up to Feldis (saves 800 meters in height).
