Tour description

This trail, which is also suitable for children, was created by a class of schoolchildren at the request of the Diavolezza cable car company. The 900m (2,953ft) descent is tough, although from the Diavolezza summit station the Diavolezza névé can be avoided by heading straight up to the chairlift terminus. Descend along the path running parallel to the chairlift and then traverse the flank of the Pers. Shortly afterwards, you will reach the Lej da Diavolezza, followed by the Lej da las Collinas. The area between the Collinas and Pers lakes is moorland and home to rare species of plants and animals. It is well worth stopping here to take in the fabulous view. The return route to the Diavolezza valley station takes you past beautiful Alpine rose bushes and, if you are lucky, you may even see a chamois.

Option A: Extending the hike to the Morteratsch station is well worth the detour.
