Tour description

Hiking along the language border: From Oberems via the Meretschialp with its idyllic mountain lakes to Chandolin.
The hiking tour begins at the Oberems Mountain Station (1336m). The trail ascends steeply and takes you through the larch forest high up to the Meretschi Alp (2330 m). Here you will find fantastic mountain lakes. Continue hiking over the Parilet Pass (2550m) and the dam wall of the Illsee (Ill Lake, 2360m). From the l'Illsee Pass (2544 m) the tour ascends to the Ill Horn (2716 m), which offers a magnificent view into the canyon of the Ill Gorge (Illgraben).
