On hot summer days you might want to hike this perfect pathway, Gommer Waldweg (forest path). In the cooling shadow of trees you hike across sun-drenched Obergoms and listen to the murmur of the wind that moves through the forest. Ideal to let the soul relax. You can choose each stage of the forest path as you like. Varied tour variations are possible thanks to the train Matterhorn Gotthard that stops in each place.
Moreover Gommer forest path is part of national alpine passes-tours (national route 6) that leads from Chur via the most beautiful alpine crossings to St. Gingolph. Coming from Corno pass the alpine passes-route runs from Ulrichen on Gommer forest path and further along to Ernen and to Binn valley.
Variation A: this tour can also be done reversely or beginning from different stations.
