On the Panorama Tour you’ll experience a lot of swift descents. If you’re looking for an easy route that requires moderate fitness, it’s just the thing.
This route leads from Emmetten with a pleasant ascent to the top station at Stockhütte. On the way you can take a break at Erlen Chapel or at the nearby picnic spot. After the short descent from Twäregg, the path takes you on a slight climb through Ängital – a lovely valley landscape with a view of Schwalmis.
Restaurant Tannibüel invites you to linger and is happy to help with any gear problems. After a quick descent – where you take the fork toward Stockboden – you’ll reach the well-known vantage point at Tristelen. Here you can sit on the bench and soak up the sun while admiring the view of Lake Lucerne. After a couple of bends in the path, you’ll end up back in the village of Emmetten.
At the Emmetten – Stockhütte cable car station, there’s a tourist information office and a bike rental center.
