Tour description

The magnificent view of the Münstertal can be thoroughly enjoyed during this easy mountain hike through pine forest, past Alpine huts and across mountain and flower-sprinkled meadows. From the top of the Ofen Pass the way leads firstly through the woods, then over the Alp da Munt to Alp Champatsch and the small Lü village. And from the sunny Lü terrace, Postbuses travel down to the valley just in case you want to shorten the route. From Ortsende the highland path continues once again through woods, this time to the Alps Urschai and Sot and Craistas hamlet, from where you descend to Santa Maria. During the hike on this highland trail you enjoy marvellous views of the Münster Valley, Piz Daint summit peaks and Piz Turettas as far as the heavily glaciated Ortler massif in South Tyrol.
