Tour description

In 1529 enemy camps from Zurich and Central Switzerland declared peace with each other during a meal of «Milchsuppe» near Kappel. Cows graze on the spot today! Discover for yourself this piece of Swiss history.

From Zug go along by the lake direction Cham to TCS Camping Site Zugersee – underpass – along the banks of the Lorze river direction Baar – under the two bridges – right over the Lorze – under the railway bridge back - pass the mini zoo on your right - right at the motorway bridge - at Früebergstrasse left over the motorway bridge - follow the Früebergstrasse (ascent) – Deubüel – Tann - main road right towards Kappel a.Albis - through Uerzlikon - descent to Steinhausen Weiher (pond) – Steinhausen Tann – Vordere Höfe – Hintere Höfe – over motorway bridge – crossroads with traffic lights – over lights direction Schochenmühle – Unterau – by the Lorze turn right – follow the Lorze to the TCS Camping Site (Brüggli) – underpass – Chamer Fussweg as far as Zug railway station.
