We start from the valley station of the Monte Tamaro cable car, and climb to Monte Ceneri on a wooded road. The climb to Monte Tamaro starts here on a mountain road which is tough and demanding, especially in the higher sections.
In return, a spectacular 360° view awaits us at the Capanna Monte Tamaro. After 1,700m of climb we reach the real highlight of the tour: the long, technically demanding descent to Arosio. We follow the winding mountain road down to Gravesano, from where we return to Rivera on an unmetalled road via the Vedeggio Valley.
