On the entire stretch you will be accompanied by the unique panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. In addition you have the view of the Grindelwald valley and especially the Eiger north face!
Leaving Männlichen at 2230 metres above sea level follow the easy and unique path in a southerly direction. Along the eastern flank of the Tchuggen, keeping a steady height, to reach Honegg. Making a loop around the rocky spur of the Lauberhorn one arrives at Rotstöckli. From here the Kleine Scheidegg at 2061 metres above sea level is no longer far.
Route A: Ascent to the summit of the Männlichen (additional distance: 0.8 km / additional climb: 122 m).
Route B: Descent to Grindelwald with the possibility of taking a Wengernalpbahn train in either Alpiglen or Brandegg (additional distance: 8.6 km / additional descent: 1118 m).
Route C: Descent to Alpiglen and further to the Glacier Gorge via Boneren: From Alpiglen you first walk up the Eiger Trail before turning off to the left. The attractive, small footpath at the foot of the north-western flank of the Eiger takes you to the Glacier Gorge in Grindelwald (additional distance: 11.4 km / additional climb: 142 m).
