This circular trail leads from Mörel up to the beautifully located Tunetschalp on the southern slope of the Rhone Valley and back downhill along a steep old toboggan run.
Starting right next to the MG Railway station in Mörel, the hiking route first leads across the Rhone to the Mörel power station. From here, walk up through the shady Lägundwald forest until you reach Zen Achru. The trail now continues uphill via Erlis along the Tunetschflu¨e and across the meadows to the Alpine pastures of the Tunetschalp, after a short section of woodland. At the top there are three different cultural and themed trails that make for fascinating and illuminating tours: the circular hikes to Niesch and the chapel, as well as the lime kiln trail. To return to Filet in the valley, follow the steep old toboggan run once used as a fast transport route. Once you arrive there, it's only a few minutes' walk back to Mörel.
