Tour description

Walk leisurely between the Reuss and Lorzen Rivers and enjoy the lovely countryside along both the rivers.

From the bridge over the River Reuss at Mühlau to Hinter Stadelmatt, on to Frauentall, Schachenwiti, Unt. Chamau, back to Hinter Stadelmatt and back again to the bridge.

Variation A: From the bridge over the River Reuss at Mühlau to Hinter Stadelmatt, on to Frauental, Schachenwiti, through Herrenwald (forest), on to Marlachen, Matten, Goldhüseren, Ob. Chamau, Unt. Chamau, back to Hinter Stadelmatt and then again back to the bridge (additional distance: 4.9 km / additional altitude: 5 hm).


Note(s)

Variation A: The part through the forest at Herrenwald is next to the main road.
