Tour description

Do you know where the most northerly point of Canton Zug is? It is the Reusspitz – where the River Lorze flows into the River Reuss. Take our tip and enjoy a memorable day in pure countryside.
Start in Zug – along the lake to Cham – railway underpass – take main road via Enikon to Hünenberg – through Hünenberg – Hinter-Drälikon – Matten – Chamau – Stadelmatten – Bützen. For real country take a diversion direction Maschwanden Reussspitz (visit on foot) – return to Bützen – through the forest to Frauenthal (well-known convent) – via Hublezen to the picturesque hamlet Niederwil – Oberwil – Bibersee – turn right direction Birch – turn off direction Steinhausen – Vordere Höfe – Hintere Höfe – over the motorway bridge – cross the crossing at the traffic lights – direction Schochenmühle – Unterau – by the Lorze right – along the Lorze to the TSC Camp Site Zugersee – underpass – Chamer Fussweg to Zug
