Nature park Thal

Nature park Thal

Tour description

Starting off from the post bus station of the same name, we commenced our ascent through the wildly romantic Wolfsschlucht. The slender foot path leads through a mixed forest along steep sloping walls of rock. This is truly the home of goblins and forest spirits. At the Hintere Brandberg (1162 m), we enjoyed the traditional cuisine and the view over the local Thal Nature Park. We continued onwards to the Malsenberg (1091 m) on the pleasant Kretenweg via Probsteberg and Harzer. There we enjoyed a Kafi Luz. Just before reaching our goal, Gänsbrunen, we visited the decorative, nearly 400-year-old church St. Joseph. After its complete renovation, it radiates with a new lustre.
