Tour description

St. Antönien, the Walser village in Prättigau is at the very end of a valley basin that is embraced by the white flanks of Sulzfluh, Wiss Platte und Schijenfluh. An exciting and challenging hike takes you via Partnunstafel, the dreamy Lake Partnun and Tilisunafürggli across the border to Austria, around the Schijenfluh and back to Partnunstafel. The numerous rock caves along the way were at one time not only the abodes of bears, but also of smugglers!
From the Walser village of St. Antönien a hiking tour on former smuggler's trails leads across the Swiss-Austrian border. You will enjoy a rich flora on the way, an idyllic mountain lake and strange rock formations.
