Tour description

Walk right round the wonderful recreational Aegeri valley. The Panorama Trail attracts hikers from near and far on a memorable tour high over Lake Aegeri. The conditions of the path, the route and the various sections are not only suitable for families but also for school parties and in particular to senior citizens. A fantastic route that can be divided up into various sections (Have a look to the alternatives).

Variation A: Start in Oberägeri - by boath via Ländli/Eierhals/Morgarten as far as the Naas jetty - on foot from Naar direction Rapperenflue - Sod - via Resti to Unterägeri (walking time: approx. 2 hours)

Variation B: Start at Unterägeri «Spinnerei» bus station - Acher - Hinterwiden - Hinterschneit - Hintertann - Raten Pass - St. Jost - walk on the pilgrims’ way down to Oberägeri (walking time: approx. 3½ hours)

Variation C: Start by the church in Oberägeri - walk along Gulmstrasse - Terrassenweg - Alisacher - Waldschlagchrüz - St. Jost - Raten Pass - Mangelihöhe - Hintertann - Oberägeri (walking time: approx. 3 hours)

Variation D: Start at Morgarten - Morgartenberg - Fisterenwald - Eigen - Schafstetten - Sattel - Alp Halsegg - Hürital - Illenberg - Meisbüel - Unterägeri (walking time: approx. 7 hours)

Variation E: Start at Oberägeri - Mitteldorfstrasse - Schneitstrasse - Gubelweg - Gruben - Schneit > Fürschwand - Chappeli - Gubel - Grüdlen - Waldheim - Unterägeri (walking time: approx. 2¼ hours)

Variation F: Start at Unterägeri «Station» bus Stopp - take southerly direction to the Rogenäu bridge (Zimmermann Sawmill) - Resti - Sod - Ramenegg Alp - Halsegg - Wildspitz - Gnipen - Zuger Alpli - Egg - Unterägeri (walking time: approx. 6 hours)

Variation G: Historic Battle route
Start at Unterägeri «Seefeld» bus Stopp - by boat from Seefeld to Eierhals - walk on pavement to Morgarten monument - Schornen - back to the bend in road direction Naar - Naas - Wilbrunnen - Unterägeri (walking time: approx. 3 hours / suitable for pushchairs)
