Tour description

This route begins at the Bussalp bus stop, where you can already enjoy breathtaking views of the snowy peaks of the Bernese Alps. The snowshoe trail initially runs parallel to the road and sledge run for 300 metres. Shortly after crossing the Bussalpbach stream, the trail branches off to the right and ascends via Paffenegg to the area around Steessiboden. The Wetterhorn and the Schreckhorn compete for the limelight between the tall firs. Amid the fantastic mountain views you can leave the everyday hustle and bustle far behind.

The descent leads over snowy meadows down to später Boden and from there to the Restaurant Rasthysi. From here, the winter hiking trail heads towards the Nodhalten area via Holewang before finally meeting the First–Waldspitz–Bort sledge run.
