Combine your love of delicious food and the great outdoors with the «Panorama» gourmet trail: regional cheese and meat specialities, soupe de chalet (a hearty vegetable soup), Älpermakronen (macaroni cheese with onion and potatoes), and vin cuit (reduced pear compote) ice-cream.
Leave your car in the car park of Les Rosalys and walk up to the restaurant. From there take the small path which leads to Les Vérollys. Carry on walking until you reach Lake Les Joncs, where you can savour a platter of regional specialities in the scenic Auberge du Lac des Joncs.
Make your way back down to the car park and take the path between the Bourbuintze and La Cagne ski lifts, which will lead through the forest and over fields. When you have reached the top of the Borbuintze, continue on until the summit of Le Pralet towards the Col-de-Lys and Paccots-Dessus. The mountain path will lead you to the Buvette de Saletta where you can catch your breath and enjoy a well-deserved bowl of hearty soup. From here, the walk to the Buvette du Vuipay is quite short. By this point, you will have surely worked up an appetite for a plate of creamy macaroni cheese.
From here, make your way down to Les Rosalys via Vuipey-Dessous and La Cuva. At the Restaurant des Rosalys, sample a real Fribourg speciality – vin cuit ice-cream.
