Tour description

This is an exhilarating traverse that takes walkers from the Breccaschlund to the Recardetsschlund. While the famous and well-documented Breccaschlund is officially recognised as a site of outstanding natural beauty (1996), the Recardetsschlund tends to be overlooked. This trail gives walkers a chance to judge for themselves if this valley is deserving of its poor cousin reputation.

Note(s)

This trail is suitable only for experienced snowshoers who have the necessary skills to assess the avalanche risk and to respond appropriately to the dangers of a mountain environment. Two short sections are partially exposed.
