This gentle winter hike leads from the sunny slopes of the Hannig to Saas-Fee.
The trail sets off at Hannig mountain station and leads downwards along the sledging slope.
A gentle zigzag then leads up to the edge of the tree line and through the Schafwald forest to Melchboden. From there, the trail continues in a straight line,
then heads just above the Honegg and turns into a field path that continues past the Schäferstube restaurant and on to the Saas-Fee village square.
Alternative A: From Melchboden, you can walk down to Wildi across the Bärenfalle.
Alternative B: Alternatively, you can follow the sledging run to the Honegg and continue along the road to Saas-Fee via the Schäferstube.
Please note that the trail crosses the sledging slope several times!
Please pay attention to the cableway timetable.
