This snowshoe trail is breathtaking, literally and metaphorically. Even the most experienced snowshoer will need complete concentration when tackling the final two precipitous slopes. However, they will be justly rewarded with spectacular views. The first part of the trail, in contrast, can be done at an altogether more gentle and leisurely pace, giving snowshoers an opportunity to enjoy the fabulous surroundings.
This trail is suitable only for experienced snowshoers who have the necessary skills to assess the avalanche risk and to respond appropriately to the dangers of a mountain environment. The last two slopes are steep and, depending on conditions, crampons may be needed along the final ridge.
