The Runcatrail was awarded the «flow country trail» designation by the IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association). With a total length of 6 kilometres the Runcatrailis one of the longest flow country trail in Europe.
Flow country trail is the designation awarded to mountain bike routes which are built especially for mountain bikers and which make it possible for both beginners and experienced riders to enjoy a unique experience. A flow country trail is never too steep, too extreme nor too dangerous and is always fun. The obstacles are all rollable and positioned to allow a seemingly endless improvement in riding skill. Turn follows turn, roller follows roller. Just like riding a rollercoaster and fun for any mountain biker.
The new Runcatrail is graded at easy to medium. Beginners just roll over simple rollers while more ambitious bikers tackle banks, jumps and rollers stylishly and at some speed.
With its northshore, dirt and freeride features, the Runcatrail is a playground for freestyle-loving mountain bikers and freeriders. The fresh surface and new features along its length make it a more playful route with significantly better flow. All the wooden elements are painted with textured paint and therefore remain non-slip even when wet.
For the bike transport to Foppa or Naraus with the mountain railway, single and day tickets are offered. The offer is valid until the end of october.
From may to october.
