Tour description

The Via Engiadina follows a route not far above the floor of the Upper Engadin valley. The varied hike takes you through Swiss stone pine and larch forests, across little, crystal-clear mountain streams and Alpine meadows, and past idyllic mountain huts and traditional Engadin villages, accompanied all the while by a breathtaking view of the unrivalled Upper Engadin scenery and the glistening glaciers.

Stage 4: La Punt - Zuoz
From La Punt, the hiking trail climbs up to the Albula Pass road before it rejoins the Via Engiadina. First there are a few stone steps to cross, then you make your way through fragrant mountain pastures and forests until you reach a plateau. Once you have traversed the stream's gorge, the route continues in a leisurely fashion down to Zuoz.
