The Fläscher mountain offers numerous hiking possibilities. Particularly popular is the trail to the Regitzerspitz (1135 m above sea level), offering an impressive view of ‚Heidiland’. The Lida Alp of Balzers and the Ochsenalp on the south-east slope of the Regitzerspitz, are well-known for their beautiful flora between spring and autumn.
In the valley between the high peaks of the Falknis range and the Pizol, the Fläscher mountain lies like a defiant bow. Its western slopes with the vertical rock faces stretch to the Rhine. Two varied mountain trails meander through this multi-shaped kingdom of rocks between Fläsch and Balzers. On the eastside of the Fläscher mountain, shady forest and mountain trails pass by famous legendary places.
Tip: A very short mountain climb leads from Guata Gang over stony meadows to Lida Alp (not marked). Several trails lead from the Regitzerspitz down to St Luzisteig, and via Prad back to Mäls.
Family tip: Have a BBQ by the Fläscher pond, on the Regitzerspitz or along the Rhine .
Parking possible by the Chapel of St Peter, or the post office in Balzers. If travelling by bus, use bus stop Mälserdorf in Balzers.
